Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 4 (Morning Trend): Akshay’s Film Struggles To Earn 2cr With 58% Dip In Footfalls
Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 4 (Morning Trend): Fans of Akshay Kumar are waiting keenly as horror comedy "Bhooth Bangla" nears release. The film brings Akshay together with director Priyadarshan after 14 years, recalling their earlier comic successes. Interest has grown further because Priyadarshan is returning to Hindi horror comedy 19 years after "Bhool Bhulaiyaa". This has turned their collaboration into a major Bollywood talking point. "Bhooth Bangla" also lines up a large ensemble cast, including Wamiqa Gabbi, Asrani, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav and Tabu in important roles. The project becomes emotional for many viewers, as it marks veteran actor Asrani's final big-screen appearance and gives Akshay a first on-screen partnership with Wamiqa.

For Akshay, "Bhooth Bangla" signals a return to the horror comedy genre after 5 years. The film has quickly turned into one of the year's most talked-about Hindi releases. This buzz continues even with heavy discussion around Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar 2". Fans say they "can't keep calm" as they await this actor-director reunion and new genre outing. With nostalgia, fresh pairings and a rare genre outing for both lead star and director, "Bhooth Bangla" is drawing strong curiosity. Viewers now wait to see whether this horror comedy matches expectations built over many years.

Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 4 (Morning Trend)
To note, with a huge fall in footfalls, Bhooth Bangla seems to be struggling at the box office on its first Monday and failed to earn even Rs 2cr. In fact, Bhooth Bangla made a collection of Rs 1cr today (day 3/ first Sunday) until 1pm during the morning shows taking the overall earnings to Rs 59cr.
Meanwhile, as Bhooth Bangla marks late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the legendary actor and wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai. Yeh picture humari Bhooth Bangla ki shoot se hai...Asrani ji ke saath meri second last film. Total 12 films humne saath ki, aur har ek mein maine unse kuch naya seekha... it was like a masterclass every single time. Comedy itni aasaan lagti thi jab woh karte the, lekin asal mein woh ek mushkil kala hai. Asrani ji uske ustad the aur hamesha rahenge. Bhooth Bangla kal release ho rahi hai... mere liye yeh sirf ek film nahi, ek yaad hai... ek tribute hai... ek salute hai uss legend ko. Asrani ji, aap hamesha yaad aayenge"
