Priyanka to pay tax on Rs. 6 cr transaction

It's tax paying time for actress Priyanka Chopra. By now, it's common knowledge that her flat was raided by the I.T. officials a few days ago, and since then, there has been a lot of talk and speculation about how much tax the actress would have to cough up. While the actress maintains that she has been paying taxes regularly as a law-abiding citizen, the I.T. sleuths have a different story to tell.

Now that the I.T. officials have conducted their research and worked on the findings which they seized at Priyanka's house, it has been ascertained that Priyanka will have to pay some tax on Rs.6 crore worth of cash transactions made by her. Apparently, the actress has declared all her investments and assets but has not yet paid the tax on cash payments made by her worth Rs. 6 crore.

According to the members of the I.T. department, the actress has agreed to pay the pending tax amount.
