Entertainment Highlights: Shabana Azmi Reacts To 'The Kerala Story' Ban; Sonam's Adorable Anniversary Post

After veteran actress Shabana Azmi expressed her views on the calls for banning The Kerala Story movie, and called it unconstitutional. And now Kangana Ranaut has reacted to Azmi’s comments on the film. Taking to Twitter, Ranaut said she agreed with Azmi but also pointed out that nobody was trying to ban Lal Singh Chaddha. She wrote, "This is a very valid point except for the fact that no one asked for a ban on LSC people just didn’t want to see it for many reasons, major reason was it was a remake of a very popular old Hollywood classic which most people had already seen."

Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan turned 25 on Monday, May 8. To make her day even more special, her fiance, Nupur Shikhare, took to his Instagram page and shared a few candid pictures. Shabana took to Twitter and wrote, “Those who speak of banning #The Kerala Story are as wrong as those who wanted to ban Aamir Khan’s #Laal Singh Chaadha. Once a film has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification nobody has the right to become an extra constitutional authority."

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is on a visit to Nepal, during which he will participate in a ten-day vipassana meditation program. The 58-year-old who is on sabbatical reached Kathmandu on Sunday morning. An immigration official told PTI, "Aamir Khan arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning via Vistara Airlines." The actor is participating in a program at the Vipassana Meditation Center located in Budhanilkantha, about 12 kilometers from Kathmandu city.
