Salman Khan Reacts To No Low Neckline Rule: Palak Tiwari who recently made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, spoke about Salman Khan's rule against women wearing low necklines on his film's set.

Her statement created a storm and netizens called out the superstar for his double standards. During an interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Salman addressed the issue and defended his stance.

The actor said, "Jab aap ek decent picture banate ho toh sab jaake dekhte hai pure parivaar ke saath. Koi double standard nahi hai. I think aurato ki jo bodies hai hai woh kahi zada precious hai. Toh woh jitni dhaki huyi hongi mujhe lagta hai ki better hai (When you take a decent picture, everyone watches it with their family. There is no double standard. I think women's bodies are more precious. So, the more covered they are the better it will be I feel)."

Salman further added, "Yeh ladkiyon ka chakkar nahi hai yeh ladko ka chakkar hai. Jis hisaab se ladke ladkiyon ko dekhte hai, aapki behene, aapki biwio ko, aapki maao ko. Woh mujhe accha nahi lagta, I don't want them to go through this (The problem isn't with women but with men. The way men stare at women, your sister, your wife, your mother. I don't like that)." He also added that when he makes films, he tries that such men shouldn't be given the chance to 'stare at the heroine', women that way'.

PALAK TIWARI'S STATEMENT ON SALMAN KHAN'S LOW-NECKLINE RULES FOR GIRLS

Palak Tiwari during her interaction with Siddharth Kannan had said that when she was AD-ing with Salman Khan on Antim, he had a rule against low necklines for girls. She said, 'koi bhi ladki mere set pe, the neckline should be here (for every girl on my set, the neckline should be here (high up)), all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls'."

She later clarified her statement and said that "It's really been misunderstood. All I wanted to say is that I have put certain guidelines for myself as to how to dress around people who are way senior to me, who have I pretty much grown up idolising. Salman sir is of course one of them."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman was last headlining the film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He will be next seen in Tiger 3, opposite Katrina Kaif. The film will release in theaters in Diwali 2023.
