Earlier this week, a Bangladeshi actress named Tanji Tisha's video started doing the rounds on the internet. She can be seen dancing in an elevator and seems to be in a drunken state. She is also seen using cuss words, mainly sexually exploitative.

Her private video was leaked from actor Sariful Razz's Facebook page, and since then Tanjin has been facing the fury of social media users. Meanwhile, Tanjin has now issued her clarification on the incident in a lengthy post.

The actress was in the US consecutively for events when things escalated, and she was unaware of the issue back in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, in her clarification, Tisha expressed shock at getting targeted over the 6-year-old viral private video where three friends are spending some quality time together that's now become controversial.

Bangladeshi actress Tanjin Tisha issues a clarification

After the video created a scandal, Tanjin took to her Facebook account and stated that, as the video was personal, she did not need to give any explanation about it. She said, "But I would still request you not to judge me based on what you have seen in the videos. Everybody has a private life."

She then added, "Please keep my personal life separate and I urge you to judge me as an actor because I want to be remembered as an artist."

Continuing with her clarification, Tanjin said that sharing someone else's private clips without their consent is a crime and also breaks the right to privacy. "I have decided to file a lawsuit against those who leaked my video on social media. I don't want to say anything else right now. I will take my stance in accordance with the laws," she exclaimed.

Furthermore, she went on to say that she will take legal action against this and will expose the person who wants to tarnish her image.

Talking about the viral video, Tanjin Tisha appeared drunk and was seen dancing inside an elevator with fellow actors Nazifa Tushi and Sunerah Binte Kamal. She is also seen using sexually explicit words and making fun of her friends.

The viral video since then has drawn a lot of criticism, and Bangladeshi netizens have voiced their disgust over the shameful incident.

Also, Sunerah Binte Kamal alleged that actor Sariful Razz's wife, Pori Moni, might have leaked the video from his Facebook profile, intending to damage her reputation. Interestingly, all the videos and images have been deleted following the controversy.
