Taapsee Pannu On Doing Intense Action In Gandhari's After Naam Shabana, Says, "It Takes a Lot Out of Me... "

Taapsee Pannu is gearing up to thrill fans with her much-anticipated action role in Gandhari, proving once again why she's Bollywood's fearless heroine. After captivating audiences in Baby and Naam Shabana, the actor is diving back into high-octane sequences that demand real effort and no shortcuts involved.

Talking about her upcoming project, Taapsee said, "I have Gandhari coming up next. Again, I am getting back into some serious action after Naam Shabana. It's been really long. That's one genre which I see whenever I go online and see, people keep asking me this - When will you do action? They remember action of Baby and Naam Shabana. It's very hard to pull off action when you're not using blue screen or face replacemnet."

Fans have been demanding for more of her powerhouse performances, and Taapsee is delivering just that. But her approach sets her apart in an industry often reliant on VFX.

Talking about doing action herself she elaborated, "Only films which can afford technology like face replacement use these technologies, my films usually don't have such budgets so I have to slog and do that kind of action. It will not be that kind of crazy action where I am like, I fight in the air and land. It won't be that fancy because I have to actually do it. So, it takes a lot out of me. After Naam Shabhana, I deliberately wanted to take a few years of break from action because it is physically draining to do that and to get my bearings back. I am not a person who likes physical aggression...So, Gandhari will see me doing a lot of action. And again, it's all done by me. So, it was physically very draining for me to complete that. You will see that this year, few months down the line."

Fresh off her powerhouse performance in Assi, where she commanded the screen with raw intensity and emotional depth, Taapsee is set to redefine action heroism in Gandhari.
