Vardhaan Puri On Akshay Tritiya, "It’s About What You Build, Not What You Buy"
Akshay Tritiya holds a special place in Vardhaan Puri's and his family's hearts, not just as a festival rooted in tradition but as a reminder to embrace growth and gratitude. The actor believes the essence of the day goes far beyond material purchases and lies in setting intentions for a better future and fulfilling life.

"Akshay Tritiya for me is about inviting positivity into your life. While people associate it with buying gold or making investments, I also see it as a day to invest in your thoughts, your actions, and your purpose. It's more about what you build as opposed to what you buy," Vardhaan shares.
Growing up, the festival was celebrated with simplicity and warmth in his family home in Juhu. "There has always been a sense of togetherness on this special day. As a family, we pray, spend time with loved ones, and reflect on what truly matters. Those values have stayed with me," he adds.
For Vardhaan, the idea of 'akshay' which means eternal or never diminishing is deeply symbolic. "It reminds me that what you give to the world, whether it's kindness, or honesty, always comes back to you in some form," he says.
This year, the actor plans to keep things meaningful, "I want to take a moment to express gratitude and set new intentions, both personally and professionally. It's about aligning yourself with what truly brings peace and fulfillment."
Vardhaan Puri's take on Akshay Tritiya feels both refreshing and inspiring, blending tradition with a modern sense of mindfulness.
