Raghavendra Chitravani Award 2007

The prestigious Sri Raghavendra Chitravani award for the sixth year in succession will be held on 21st April this year. D.V. Sudheendra, who was the head of the Sri Raghavendra Chitravani for last 30 years, has passed away. Now his role in the organization is taken up by D.V. Venkatesh.

This year, one more award has been added. Journalist Mysore Harish has given award in the name of Late Smt. Sumitra Subramanyam for the Best Young film journalist.The Chitraloka award in the name of Late K.S. Mallappa goes to Senior Still and Press photographer Ashwathnarayana.
