Pathemari Audience Review: Getting Excellent Reports!
Pathemari, the Mammootty starrer period drama, is getting excellent reports when it completed the first show. The movie, which is written and directed by National Award winner Salim Ahamed, is considered as one of the best movies of Mammootty.
Mammootty, who played the central character Pallickal Narayanan, is getting rave reviews for his performance. According to the audience, the actor has simply stolen the show with his impeccable acting and dialogue delivering skills; especially in the emotional sequences.
As per the latest reports, Pathemari is a class movie, which depicts the life and struggles of an NRI and indirectly criticizes the attitude of the family and society towards them. The movie states that NRIs are always treated like ATM counters and their struggles are never counted at all.
Mammootty's Pallickal Narayanan is the representative of NRIs, who lose the respect in their family after they return to hometown. But the movie lacks the so-called entertainment factors; thus the audience rush is much lower when compared to the usual Mammootty films.
Another actor who has been receiving huge accolades for his performance is Siddique. He has played Velayudhan, an agent who send employees to Gulf in the movie. Sreenivasan, who plays Narayanan's best friend and Jewel Mary, who played his wife Nalini, have done their part perfectly.
