Mohanlal's Drishyam 3 Sets Major Records With Its Overseas Rights; Massive Opening On Cards! The long-awaited third installment of Malayalam cinema's iconic movie franchise is gearing up for an April 2026 release. Drishyam 3, which marks the reunion of Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph, has already emerged as Malayalam cinema's biggest project, in terms of its pre release business.

Reportedly, Mohanlal's highly anticipated film has now set multiple records, with its overseas theatrical rights. As per the latest updates, Drishyam 3 has now cracked a record-breaking deal with its North America theatrical rights, which have been sold for a whopping ₹10 crore. The USA theatrical rights are reportedly sold for ₹6 crore, while the Canada rights are sold for ₹4 crore.

The latest updates suggest that Phars Films have bagged the UAE and GCC theatrical rights of Drishyam 3. The Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore theatrical rights of Mohanlal's film are sold to Homescreen Entertainments. RFT Films has grabbed the UK and Europe theatrical rights, while the USA rights of the Jeethu Joseph directorial are bagged by Prathyangira Films.

Drishyam 3: Cast And Crew

For the uninitiated, Drishyam 3 is slated to hit the theatres on April 2, 2026. The Jeethu Joseph directorial will have Mohanlal reprising his iconic character George Kutty yet again, while Meena returns to play the role of his wife Rani. Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil too are returning to play their daughters in the film.

The recently revealed theatre owner's agreement suggests that the Mohanlal starrer will get a theatrical window of minimum 30 to 35 days. In that case, Drishyam 3 will make its OTT debut only in May 2026 or later. However the film's OTT partner is not revealed yet. More updates on the same are expected to be revealed very soon.
