According to the latest reports by trade expert Jerin Georgekutty, the Prathichaya box office from Kerala on Day 1 will be around just ₹75 lakhs. The Nivin Pauly starrer has reportedly made a poor start at the overseas box office, too. So, it has been confirmed that the B Unnikrishnan directorial will make a worldwide gross collection of around ₹1.10 crore on its Day 1 at the theatres.

Prathichaya Plot, Cast And Crew

The political drama film revolves around Varghese, the Chief Minister of Kerala, who is trapped by a powerful corporate syndicate on a conspiracy. This results in his reputation to crumble under mounting allegations. Prathichaya revolves around his son John Varghese' efforts to step into a dangerous web of deceit and power to clear his father's name and restore his family's honour.

Nivin Pauly appears as John Varghese in Prathichaya, which features Balachandra Menon in the role of Chief Minister Varghese. Sharaf U Dheen plays the lead antagonist in the B Unnikrishnan directorial, which stars Harisree Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Ann Augustine, Neethu Krishna, Sabitha Anand, and Vishnu Agasthya and others in the key roles.
