'The Colors Within' Anime Film Trailer Released, Coming To Theatres In January

The official GKIDS Films YouTube channel just recently uploaded a trailer for an anime film whose plot, characters, and aesthetics are all a thing of beauty. The movie is called 'The Colors Within' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

The plot of the anime film 'The Colors Within' has been described by GKIDS in the following manner, "Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the 'colors' of others. Colors of bliss, excitement, and serenity, plus a color she treasures as her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, gives off the most beautiful color of all. Although she doesn't play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a used bookstore in a far corner of town. As they practice at an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, forming friendships and stirring affections. Will they discover their true 'colors'?"

Cast And Crew Behind The Anime Film 'The Colors Within'

Animation studio Science SARU are behind the film 'The Colors Within', with it being directed by Naoko Yamada, who's worked on other anime projects such as K-ON!, A Silent Voice, Tamako Love Story, and more. The music for the series was composed by Kensuke Ushio.

The cast list for the film includes many voice talents such as Akari Takaishi, Sayu Suzukawa, Taisei Kido, Yui Aragaki, Yasuko, and more.
