Jaat Hit or Flop: After setting the box office on fire with the 2023 release Gadar 2, fans have been eagerly waiting to witness Sunny Deol's charisma once again on the big screen. And now the wait is over as Sunny Deol is back to rule the big screen after 1.5 years with Jaat. Touted to be an action thriller, Jaat marks ace Telugu director Gopichand Malineni's directorial debut in Bollywood. Apart from Sunny, Jaat also features Regina Cassandra as the female lead and Randeep Hooda in the role of lead antagonist.

Also starring Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu and others in supporting roles, Jaat revolves around Bhaskar Singh "Jaat" (played by Sunny Deol) who comes across a remote coastal village in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh while travelling and witnesses the villagers' suffering by the hands of ruthless criminal Ranatunga (played by Randeep Hooda) who has been terrorizing the locals. As a result, Bhaskar Singh Jaat takes the matter in his own hands and confronts Ranatunga. As Jaat has managed to create a massive buzz, there have been speculations about when this Sunny Deol starrer will be a hit at the box office.

According to media reports, Jaat is made with a budget of Rs 100cr and has been shot in Hyderabad, Bapatla and Visakhapatnam.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Jaat is expected to make an opening day collection of around Rs 10 crores.

If the box office reports turned out to be true, Jaat is expected to become Sunny Deol's second highest opener after Gadar 2. Besides, Jaat is likely to become Randeep Hooda's highest opener ever.

And while the action drama is eyeing a decent start at the box office, the movie will have to cross its budget to be a hit and fans are quite hopeful for the same.
