A Celebration Of Harmony: Omar Harfouch Presents Concerto For Peace In Dubai
Omar Harfouch presents the Concerto for Peace in Dubai on Friday, April 3 as a declaration, a statement that stems from what he sees around him every day. "I felt a strong desire to restart a positive dynamic on social media, one that truly reflects the reality of life in Dubai today," he says. His choice comes from a wish to place attention back on a city he describes as thriving, surviving, flourishing, and surging ahead, regardless of any circumstances.

He explains that this already exists in plain sight. "Life has resumed. Restaurants are open, shops are open, people are going out, enjoying the beach, and living again," Omar says. For him, a night at Steinway and Sons, attended by distinguished guests, significantly proves this fact further. "We are all proud citizens of Dubai, and we want to express that pride through this cultural event," he adds.
Omar also points to Steinway and Sons Dubai as a loyal partner in outstanding, noteworthy chapters of his artistic journey. "They supported me during my concert at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, at the opening of the museum, and at the Dubai Opera two years ago," he says. "They immediately said yes when I suggested organizing this concert." Their long history with Omar certainly gives his upcoming Concerto for Peace an added layer of prestige coupled with an awe-inspiring display of musical excellence.
Public response has given the Concerto for Peace an even greater impact. "What truly moved me was the reaction after I announced the event on Instagram. More than 400,000 people viewed the announcement, and I received thousands of positive messages. Everyone agreed that this is the right moment to come together for an event like this," he affirms. Musicians in Dubai have reached out to join him, members of his quartet have prepared to travel from France, and the Concerto for Peace is now a much-awaited performance to let the world know that "We are doing just fine here in Dubai."
