Prithviraj turns villain again

Actor Prithviraj, one of the promising young heroes of South Film Industry, has decided to step down from hero position for a film! The reason is ace filmmaker Mani Rathnam. From Amitabh to Aishwarya Rai, every actor is considering Mani Rathnam is something special and has the wish to act in his lovely direction at least once in their life time. That is the special of Mani Rathnam. Now he is making his new Tamil-Hindi bi-lingual with Abhishek – Aishwarya Rai and Vikram.

The director needs a special villain for this movie. The character of this villain is something high tech but poisoned with a sugar coat. For this role, Prithviraj is said to be the first choice of Mani Rathnam and he has almost finalized Prithviraj to play the role.

Though Prithvi entered Tamil Cinema playing a villain in Kana Kanden, hit films like Paarijatham, Mozhi and Vellithirai have now given him an image of a soft hero.

Mainstream actors usually won't try doing a villain role and damage their image of a hero that they have attained after much hard work. But Prithvi is accepting the role just to add a new colour in his career.
