Malavika is busy with item songs

Malavika debuted in films as a heroine. After acting in some films she realized that she was not making any impact so she switched over to item songs. She also married a Mumbai based businessman. Malavika is now doing item numbers in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

She is however very particular about her remuneration. She takes part in the shooting only after the producer pays her the agreed amount. She demonstrated this to a producer recently. She walked out of shooting for a Hindi film and came back to Chennai. The producer rushed to Chennai with the money.

Only after getting the full amount, Malavika reported for shooting. That's Malavika for you. She also said that the producers look down upon item song artists. She is now doing an item song with Vijay in Tamil.
