Simran lost 25 kgs!

Simran is back and this time it is on the small screen! The actress launched her re entry yesterday in Simran Thirai (A serial in Jaya TV, Mon-Fri 8.30 pm), produced by Pyramid Saimira. According to the actress, Simran Thirai is not a serial but a Tele-film with different stories that has been aired from March 3 on Jaya TV.

Simran has lost 25 kilos and looked stunning in the serial. The first two episodes of Simran Thirai will be directed by actress Sri Priya (late writer Sujatha's famous story Vannathupoochi) and National award winning director Ahathiyan. The title song of the serial is composed by Ramesh Vinayagam to Vairamuthu's lyrics. Her hero in the first episode of Simran Thirai is Raghav.

Simran says that she wants to balance her Television serials and film career. Her new Telugu film is ready for release and she has signed Gautham Menons Vaaranam Aayiram. She also regrets for not being roped up with the Superstar Rajini in his Kuselan and hopes that she will join with him soon in any of his forthcoming project!
