Bigg Boss Tamil 7 is just a couple of days away from its grand finale and the speculations have already begun about who will be lifting the trophy this season. The ongoing season of the popular reality show is being hosted by Kamal Haasan and is currently witnessing a race between eight contestants including Vishnu, Vijay Varma, Vichithra, VJ Archana, Dinesh, Manichandra, Maya Krishnan and Poornima Ravi.

While Vishnu has emerged as the first finalist of Bigg Boss Tamil 7, the makers have recently introduced the twist of the cashbox with a starting amount of Rs 1 lakh. The cashbox was an opportunity for the contestants to quit the game at any point after lifting the cashbox. While there have been endless speculations about who will be lifting the cashbox, the recent update states that Poornima Ravi has decided to quit the show ahead of the finale and walk away with the cashbox.

Needless to say, fans have been quite curious to know the final amount of the cashbox that Poornima will be taking with her. As per the buzz, Poornima has walked away with the amount of Rs 16 lakhs in the cashbox. A video of Poornima is doing the rounds on social media wherein she was seen lifting the cashbox with Rs 16 lakhs. Her decision to quit the show left everyone with mixed emotions. While she was seen dancing her way out of the house, Poornima's BFF Maya Krishnan was seen getting emotional will bidding her adieu.

Apart from Rs 16 lakhs of the cashbox, Poornima has also charged a hefty amount for her stint in the show. Reportedly, Poornima has charged Rs 15 thousand per episode for Bigg Boss Tamil 7 and is expected to take home over Rs 14 lakhs for participating in the show. Meanwhile as the reports of Poornima walking away with cashbox are rife, the netizens are of the opinion that it was a wise decision taken by her.
