Hina Khan Says Playing Komolika Is A Challenge & Wants People To Hate Her; Here's Why!
While talking to DNA, Hina Khan said that playing the role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 is challenging and that she wants people to hate her.

One of the most-awaited moments for the Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 fans came true when Hina Khan entered the show as the iconic vamp Komolika. Twitter went gaga over the new Komolika and appreciated her for the endless nekaa that she displays. Recently, in a live conversation with Ekta Kapoor, Hina Khan revealed that there was nothing better she could have done on the Indian television besides playing Komolika. Ekta Kapoor also said that she wanted to change Hina's image of an ideal bahu into something different, and hence she chose her. However, Hina Khan has told DNA that she wants people to hate Komolika.
Hina Wants To Be Hated
By accepting the role of Komolika, Hina Khan has proved that she is a versatile actress who has the ability to pull off any role. She told DNA, "I'm sure it's going to be an interesting experience and challenging too because rather than winning people's love, you want them to hate you," she reasons.
On Playing A Negative Role
When asked how playing an anti-heroine is different from portraying a positive role, Hina said, "As an actor, I haven't explored the negative side before and there are a lot more layers when it comes to the anti-heroine."
Hina Doesn't Want To Be Compared
When rumours stared making rounds that Hina Khan would be playing the role of Komolika, fans wondered if she will be able to beat the bar that was set high by Urvashi Dholakia, who played the original Komolika. Addressing to this, Hina said, "Each actor has their own way of playing a character. Also in this case, Ekta Kapoor has a vision which is different."
She Hopes The History Repeats
Hina said, "I remember watching it in my school days with my mom and grandmother. It was an amazing show, with iconic characters. I really hope we repeat history and make this show the best and give it good ratings."
