Shrimad Ramayan cast: The wait got over on New Year 2024 as Sony Entertainment Television officially launched its newest property. Titled Shrimad Ramayan, the mythological drama replaced Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 at 9pm.

"The channel has left no stone unturned to spruce up its weekday programming. The new show is expected to give a boost to the leading GEC in the prime time slot. The initial response has been great and we are sure that it will turn out to be a game changer for Sony TV," an industry source told Filmibeat.

The makers have already planned a special episode for the 'Ram birth' episode that will beam on the channel on January 3, 2024. The official Instagram handle of Sony TV shared the promo ahead of the telecast.

This is the biggest role of my career, and I can't wait to usher in the new year with this show," Basant Bhatt said in a statement as quoted as saying by IANS.
