Bichagadu 2 aka Pichaikkaran 2 is Vijay Antony's latest thriller, which hit the screens on May 19 to positive reviews. The movie managed to create hype with its intriguing trailer and went on to become one of the remarkable films for the multi-talented Vijay Antony.

Along with Vijay Antony as Vijay Gurumoorthy and Sathya, the movie features actors like Kavya Thapar as Hema, Radha Ravi as the CM, and YG Mahendra as Vijay Gurumoorthy's secretary. In addition, there are also others including Mohan Raman, Raja Krishnamoorthy, Sheela, Sai Dheena, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Dev Gill, and Yogi Babu in key roles.

Bichagadu 2 Story

Although the movie is named after the highly successful movie Bichagadu in 2016, the film is not a sequel and deals with a new plot altogether.

Sathya, a beggar with a dark past gets kidnapped and his brains get transplanted without his consent and knowledge. His brain gets replaced by that of multimillionaire entrepreneur Vijay Gurumoorthy. He lives as Vijay but decides to donate Vijay's properties to the poor in a bid to eradicate poverty. What happens next is all about this thriller.

Vijay Antony starrer movie, which enjoyed a decent run at the theatres in Tamil and Telugu is now ready to enthrall the viewers at large by hitting the digital space. The film's streaming rights were bought by Disney plus Hotstar for a whopping price. The film will start streaming in two languages from June 23.

Bichagadu 2 Crew

The movie is co-written, directed, edited, and enacted by Vijay Antony, who is also Bichagadu 2's music director. His wife Fatima Vijay Antony bankrolled the movie under the Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner on a budget of Rs 15 Crore. Om Narayan cranked the camera for the film.

Along with Vijay Antony, Bichagadu 2 aka Pichaikkaran 2 was co-written by K Palani and Paul Antony. The movie made estimated earnings of Rs 31.39 Crore from its worldwide release in both Tamil and Telugu. In Telugu, the movie was more successful than in Tamil and minted more money.
