Sean Connery is the first actor to play James Bond in 1962 film Dr. No. He acted in total seven films, out of which one never released by production house. Sean was a Scotish body-builder who came to attention after appering in many British films in Late 1950s.

Australian model turned actor George Lazenby is another actor who had a solitary appearance in Bond movies. He acted in 1969 `On Her Majesty's Secret Service' and was later replaced by Connery for Diamonds Are Forever. Many accepted that Daniel Craig came very closer to the Author's original conception.
