Top 10 Box Office Hit Bollywood Movies In The First Quarter of 2023

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' is  one of the highest grossing films realeased this year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, which featured Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Like a complete spy thriller movie,  it received good responses from audience. The film was released on 23 Jan 2023, and earned Rs 100 crore at the box-office on the opening day. As per the reports, the film broken the opening day collection of big star movies like Hrithik Roshan's War and Yash's KGF.

Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles, the rom-com drama 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' entered in the 100 crore club recentely. Directed by  Luv Ranjan, the film marked Shraddha Kapoor successful comeback to the industry. The film also marked as the acting debut of Boney Kapoor.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film 'Shehzada' is official Hindi remake of  the 2020 Telugu film ''Ala Vaikunthapurramloo'. The film featured  Karthik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead role, received good respnoses from the audience. It also marks the reunion of   Karthik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon after success of 'Luka Chuppi'.

Bholaa is one of the  block-buster hit movies this year, which featured actor Ajay Devgan and Tabu in prominent roles. Directed by actor -director Ajay Devgan, the film marked the big Bollywood debut of South actress Amala Paul. As per the resources, the film earned Rs 50 crore at the box-office.

The film 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway' is an emotional drama, which starred actors Rani Mukherjee, Anirban Bhattacharya and Jim Sarbh in lead roles. Directed by  Ashima Chibber, the actress Rani Mukherjee, who received critical appreciation for her outstanding perfomances in the movie.

Like a complete social drama, that shows the struggles of migration during Covid-19 lock down. Written and directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film featured Raj Kumar Rao, in the lead role along with Bhumi Pednekar.

Starring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film 'Mission Majnu' released on OTT platform Netflix and received  good responses from the audience. Like a spy-thriller the film made buzz on social media for its theatrical release, but later it relaesed on digital platform. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, it also marks second film debut of South actress Rashmika Mandanna after 'Goodbye'.

Chhatriwali is a social comedy drama, which discusses about the importance of sex education among school children. Directed by Tejas Vijay Deoskar, it featured actress Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film released on  Zee5  on January 20, got good reviews from both audience and critics.

Like a complete heist thriller drama,Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga grabbed the attention of many cinephiles around us. Directed by Ajay Singh, the film received good responses from audience. It also feautred actors Yami Gautam, Sunny Kaushal, Sharad Kelkar in lead roles.

In Car is a survival drama, featured Ritika Singh, Sandeep Goyat  and Manisy Jhanjholia in lead roles. Directed by Harsh Warrdhan, the film which discusses the contemporary condition of society.
