Article 15 Story

Article 15 is a Bollywood investigative drama, directed by Anubhav Sinha. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Isha Talwar and Sayani Gupta in the lead roles. The film is based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution. The movie is inspired from true events. The film is being called one of Sinha's most ambitious projects till date and is the director's first collaboration with Ayushmann.

The film offers a realistic take on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution, which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. In the movie, Khurrana plays a police officer investigating the rape and murder of a woman, who belongs to a minority class, in rural Uttar Pradesh. With 'Article 15', director Anubhav Sinha and writer Gaurav Solanki borrow a leaf out of a real-life incident and spin a hard-hitting narrative which makes you realize how deep the caste-based crimes run in our society.
