Biography

Asif Ali, is one of the prominent actors in the Malayalam Film Industry and has done lead roles in the movies like Ritu, Virus,Sunday Holiday, Uyare, Salt N Pepper and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. Besides acting, Asif Ali along with his friends Sajin Jafar and Prajeesh Mohammed, launched a production company named Adam's World of Imagination in 2015. Personal Life He was born in Thodupuzha in kerala, to M. P. Shoukath Ali and Molly on 4th February 1986. His father M. P. Shoukath Ali was the former Muncipal Chairman of Thodupuzha Muncipality. He has a younger brother Askar Ali. He did his degree in Business Administration from Marian College, Kuttikkanam. Asif married Zama Mazreen in 2013 and the couple has two children. Career Life Asif Ali stepped into the film industry through modeling and also appeared as a video jockey. The actor made his first  debut with the movie Ritu, directed by Shyamaprasad in 2009. He appeared in the film along with Nishan and Rima Kallingal. In 2010, his second film  Kadha Thudarunnu (2010)released, it became a super hit and the actor received critical acclamation for his performance in this film. Since then, he acted in many movies such as Apoorvaragam, Salt 'N 'Pepper, Ithu Nammudea Katha. In the same year, he received the Asianet Film Award for best villain role in Apoorvaragam. Later, he played a protagonist role in the film 'Traffic'in 2011, which was a commercial success. Then, he became part of the romantic comedy film 'Salt N Pepper, which was successful and the film was remade in Tamil also. By playing versatile roles the actor also explored romantic comedies and family entertainers at the same time. As a young talented actor, he is now one of the leading actors in the Malayalam film industry. His other notable works include Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, Honey Bee, Honey Bee-2 , Uyarea and Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha.
