Vivek Sinha hails from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. He moved from Jamshedpur to Bengaluru in 2007 to pursue a degree in engineering. Although he completed his studies, his interest gradually shifted toward the performing arts.
After finishing his education, Sinha chose to follow his passion for acting. He trained through theatre and acting workshops, building a strong foundation in performance. Over time, he gained experience through stage plays, advertisements, and short films, steadily carving a path in the entertainment industry.
Sinha rose to prominence with his intense portrayal of Zahoor Mistry in the 2025 thriller Dhurandhar. His performance was widely appreciated for its realism, with some viewers even mistaking his nationality due to the authenticity he brought to the role.
He further expanded his career with roles in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, reprising his character as Zahoor Mistry (Zahid Akhund), the acclaimed series Delhi Crime (2025) as Rajiv Mahato, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai as Narayan Sai, Modi Ji Ki Beti, Tandav (2021), and a minor role in PK.
