Karthi is simply stunning in his role as a fraudster, who comes in a disguise.
The film’s storyline, with its multiple twists, definitely sounds good on paper and you will certainly leave the theatre surprised by the turn of events.
Karthi impresses in yet another role by aptly filling the shoes of a role which has an appealing character arc.
Thambi is an engaging watch for the solid performances of the lead actors and very unlike most thrillers you’ve seen recently.
Papanasam also worked because of the songs and background score. Thambi fails in this aspect, too.
The trouble with Thambi is that the story travels all around, as multiple motives in the plot throw red herrings to confuse the audiences.
The twists, an engaging second half and powerful lead performances make Thambi a watchable suspense thriller
