Hey Balwanth is a Telugu comedy entertainer directed by Gopi Atchara. The film stars Suhas and Shivani Nagaram in the lead roles, alongside Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vennela Kishore, Sudharshan, and several others in supporting roles. The music is composed by Vivek Sagar, cinematography is handled by Mahi Reddy Pandugula, and editing is done by Viplav Nyshadham. The film is produced by B. Narendra Reddy under the Trishul Visionary Studios banner.

Story

From childhood, Krishna (Suhas) dreams of taking over his father Balwanth’s business. However, his father constantly tries to keep him away from it. As Krishna grows up, he becomes more determined to inherit the business and even neglects his studies because of this ambition. To distance him further, his father enrolls him in a boarding school. Years later, after completing his MBA, Krishna decides to finally take charge of the family business. But under unexpected and critical circumstances, the business suddenly comes into his hands, and he is shocked to discover its true nature. His girlfriend Mithra (Shivani Nagaram) is disgusted by what his father does for a living and agrees to marry him only if he gives up the business, prompting Krishna to try to sell it.

Release Date:

The movie was initially titled Hey Bhagawan, but the makers later changed the title to Hey Balwanth for undisclosed reasons. Blending humor with family-friendly entertainment, the film aims to deliver a fun-filled cinematic experience. Hey Balwanth was released in theatres on February 20, 2026.
