Indrudu Chandrudu is comedy based movie in which, Kamal Haasan played dual roles follows the exploits of small time dancer Chandru,(Kamal Haasan) who is forced to take the place of dead Mayor T.K Rajendran (Kamal Haasan,again) by the mayor's corrupt assistant (Saran Raj). At the due time how he handles his reporter girlfriend (Vijayashanti), the dead mayor's wife (Srividya) and his mistress (Abhinaya) forms the rest of the story.
