Angad Bedi Biography

Angad Singh Bedi (born 6 February 1983 in New Delhi) is an Indian actor, model, and a cricketer for Delhi. He bats right-handed, and his bowling style is slow left-arm orthodox.

Career

Unable to replicate the success of his father, cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi, he began a career in modelling. Branching into acting, he made his debut in Kaya Taran, a television adaptation of a Malayalam short story by N. S. Madhavan, When Big Tree Falls, The Earth Is Bound To Shake. He is now doing a movie "The Little Godfather", directed by Joy Augustine.

Angad has one older sister, Neha, and two older half-siblings from Bishan's previous marriage - a half-sister named Gill and a half-brother named Gavasinder. Bishan named his first son Gavasinder Singh Bedi in tribute to Sunil Gavaskar's heroics at Trinidad in 1971. Gavasinder was born during the Test match.

Angad has also appeared in a cooking Show called Cook Na Kaho on Star One.He was hosting a reality television show called Emotional Atyachar on UTV Bindass before being replaced by Pravesh Rana.He is currently participating on Colors' show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
